First Fadookle

This whole experience of getting a job at Pixar has really kicked off an adventure in my life and I thought a blog would be a great way to keep everyone up to date on what is going on.

The first leg of the adventure is a 5 week trip that has us visiting Costa Rica, Portugal, Spain, France, Italy and London.

For this trip I will be arming myself with 2 weapons. 1) two pocket moleskin watercolor sketchbooks and 2) a lomo lc-a+ 35mm. I have recently realized that the phrase "i don't have time to..." has for way too long primarily applied to all of the art I used to do. I used to have a camera and a sketch book on me at all times. It's gotten to the point where i don't seem to have time for the sketching/painting/shooting I want to do yet I'm up to date on all the ridiculous reality tv I watch. So, I'm hoping that this trip will exterminate some of the laziness.

I'm not sure how often during the trip I will be able to upload images from the lomo since those require scanning/processing but I know that we will be uploading pictures from the digital as often as we can.

Once the trip is over I will be using this as an update tool on whatever is going on in my life as well as an art blog for sketches, paintings and photographs.

I'm hoping to update this at least once a week so check back for updates if you feel like checking in.
